After TMC & SP, AAP says won't join House panel

AFTER the two key members of the INDIA bloc—the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the Samajwadi Party—decided not to join the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probing three bills seeking the removal of the Prime Minister and chief ministers, AAP has also announced to follow suit.
REFERRING to the three bills that lay down the framework for the removal of the prime minister and chief ministers following their arrest for 30 consecutive days, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday accused the Centre of snatching the people's rights to form and remove governments and passing it on to agencies such as Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
Sharpening his attack further, he said that after "vote chori" (vote theft), the BJP is now engaged in "satta chori" (stealing power) by bringing bills to "topple opposition governments within 30 days" and "destabilise democracy" by using arrest as a weapon.
