SHRC Directs Water Authority to Inform Supply Interruption via SMS

The State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) has directed the Kerala Water Authority (KWA) to provide early messages about interruption in drinking water supply to consumers via SMS system or through media, similar to the practices employed by the KSEB.
The Commission judicial member K Baijunath also directed the water authority's PH division executive engineer to upload the progress of the steps taken to resolve the complaints submitted on its online portal.
