MOPASANG Valath, 69, the artist who painted Kathakali maestro Kalamandalam Gopi's 'navarasas', that have been put on display at the Kochi airport, passed away on Tuesday.
Mopasang had been under treatment for pneumonia at a private hospital in Kochi for the past one week. His health deteriorated on Tuesday and he breathed his last in the afternoon.
