DEWALD Brevis was picked up by Pretoria Capitals for over R16.5mn (over ₹8cr) during the SA20 auction ahead of the fourth season, a record for the league.
The explosive middle-order batter, who has come into his own over the last six to eight months, has become an all-format player for the national team.
He also excelled for Chennai Super Kings after being picked as a replacement player in 2025. Last year, he was part of the victorious MICT franchise.
