Kannur University Syndicate decides to cancel recognition of the Kasaragod college
KANNUR University Syndicate has taken strict action against the college and teacher involved in the recent question paper leak incident. Following the recommendation of a sub-committee, the university syndicate decided to cancel the recognition of Kasaragod's Greenwoods Arts and Science College from the next academic year.
Additionally, the teacher involved in leaking the question paper has been barred from conducting examinations for five years. The college management has also been fined ₹1.5 lakh, and the university has ordered a re-examination of the affected papers. The decisions were finalized during the Kannur University Syndicate meeting held on Monday.
