Nestle India considering price hikes due to rising inflation
The New Indian Express Kannur
|February 25, 2025
NESTLE INDIA is considering a price hike for its products due to rising inflation in key commodities such as coffee, cocoa and edible oil.
The company aims to implement a "small margin" increase to mitigate the impact of these cost pressures.
Nestle India managing director Suresh Narayanan emphasised that price hikes will be kept as low as possible and will only be applied where absolutely necessary. He also noted that while price increases help counter inflation, they can negatively affect volume growth, which is a concern for the industry.
