Kannur to Draft Its First-Ever Water Budget

KANNUR is set to prepare a comprehensive water budget, combining data on water availability, usage and future planning. The initiative is being carried out under the leadership of the Haritha Kerala Mission, following the completion of water budgets for all local government institutions in the district. The water budget is being prepared in collaboration with the district planning department, ground water office, minor irrigation department, agriculture department, local self-government department, water authority, and statistics department.
