Gallantry medal or participation in global event will make the cut

AGNIVEERS who participate in any international event or get gallantry medals, including the Sena Medal, will be inducted permanently into the services, as per a new document seen by this newspaper. They would be part of the 25% who make the cut for permanent induction after four years of serving as Agniveers.

Over all, Agniveers will undergo four sets of evaluations. For context, the first batch of Agniveers are in their third round of assessment.
