Dr. S.S. Nooli, an expert from the University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Dharwad, stressed the urgent need to educate both factory personnel and sugarcane growers on improving soil fertility for better crop yields.
Nooli was addressing a seminar on the 'Importance of Soil Testing, Soil Fertility, and Water Management to Increase Sugarcane Yields,' organised by the S. Nijalingappa Sugar Institute in Belagavi on Tuesday. The seminar was conducted in association with the Office of the Commissioner for Sugarcane Development and Sugar, Belagavi, and ACP Agro Industries Limited, Mudhol.
