Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in the border district of Belagavi have taken a unique and patriotic turn this year.
The Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal of Bank of India Corner road in Shahapur has set up a Ganesha pandal themed around 'Operation Sindoor', paying tribute not only to Lord Ganesha, but also to the valour of Indian soldiers.
The pandal stands out with its patriotic decor and meaningful tributes. As devotees step into the venue, they are greeted by powerful imagery — portraits of Colonel Sophia Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, both of whom gained national prominence through Operation Sindhoor.
