Almatti Dam Likely To Reach Full Capacity By Tomorrow

The inflow of Almatti Reservoir has declined, but with the outflow reduced for the past week, officials of the Karnataka Bhagya Jal Nigam Limited (KBJNL) expect it to reach full capacity around August 15.
Currently, the reservoir level stands at 519.56 metres, just short of the maximum 519.60 metres. It has stored 122.308 TMC ft of water against a capacity of 123.081 TMC ft. The present inflow is 16,932 cusecs, while 12,500 cusecs are being released from the riverbed.
