76 Infants Die in Kalaburagi Within 3 Months

RCH officer Dr Siddu Patil says of these, 23 babies died due to Low Birth Weight
Seventy-six infants have died in Kalaburagi district in the last three months (from April 25th to June 25th) and 23 among them died due to LBW (Low Birth Weight), according to Reproductive Child Health Officer of Kalaburagi district Dr Siddu Patil.
Speaking to The New Indian Express here on Thursday, Dr. Siddu Patil said that 114 infant deaths had occurred in the corresponding period from April 24 to June 24 last year.
