The New Indian Express Hyderabad
|December 17, 2024
REVENUE Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy on Monday dismissed reports that the real estate in Hyderabad was witnessing a downslide.
During an interaction with media persons in the Assembly lobby, he said there was no truth in the reports that realtors were looking at Amaravati in Andhra Pradesh.
Though the market witnessed sluggishness for some time, it recovered, he said and added that Hyderabad and Bengaluru were major beneficiaries due to the recent floods in Amaravati.
He said the government was contemplating providing financial assistance of ₹12,000 each to around 15 lakh families and the government will release ₹1,000 crore for this purpose. He also announced that Rythu Bharosa will be implemented from Sankranti and the government is planning to release Aasara pensions.
