5 youths from Shirahatti visited a temple to perform puja
THREE youths were feared drowned after they went for swimming in Tungabhadra river near Korlahalli bridge in Mundargi taluk of Gadag district on Saturday.
Sharanappa Badiger (34), Mahesh Badiger (36) and Gurunath Badiger (38) are the victims and a search operation started from Saturday evening.
Till night, the police searched for all three but in vain. A total of five youths from Shirahatti visited Modalagahatti Anjaneya temple to perform puja on the occasion of Sharanappa Badiger's birthday.
