WITH a year of reciprocal airspace closure between India and Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attacks, Pakistan on Tuesday said it would extend the restriction until May 24.
India is expected to respond with a similar move soon.As usual, the Pakistan Airport Authority announced the decision through a fresh Notice to Airmen (NOTAM). It said, “Pakistan airspace will remain closed to Indian-regis-tered aircraft and those operated, owned, or leased by Indian airlines/operators, including military flights. This ban will now be effective till May 24, 2026, 4.59 am.” The closure was earlier set to end on April 24.
