Support over the past four years to Kabul
INDIA has again reaffirmed its strong commitment to humanitarian assistance and healthcare cooperation with Afghanistan, Union Health Minister JP Nadda said. The announcement came during his meeting with the visiting Afghan Minister of Public Health, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, on Wednesday night.
Nadda emphasised New Delhi's ongoing support for Afghanistan and explored ways to deepen bilateral cooperation in the healthcare sector. Both sides reviewed current initiatives and discussed plans to strengthen healthcare infrastructure, medical supplies, and capacity building.
Nadda later shared on X, "Reaffirmed India's commitment to continued humanitarian assistance and healthcare cooperation with Afghanistan and discussed avenues to further strengthen this collaboration with particular focus on longterm supply of medicines."
