In a First, 22L Jalebis to be Prepared During Gavi Mutt Fair in Koppal

KOPPAL Gavi Mutt annual fair is coming up with many new ideas this year. In a first, 22 lakh jalebis will be prepared for the devotees. 100 special jalebi makers will come from Andhra Pradesh, Raichur, Talikoti, Gangavati, Gabbur and other places for the purpose. Video invitations, a kite festival and others are also included in the annual fair this year.

The mutt authorities expect nearly 10 lakh devotees for the chariot utsav and a total of 7 to 8 lakh devotees will have prasada in the annual fair. Around 22 lakh jalebis will cost Rs 16 lakh and Sindhanur's devotees have taken the responsibility of preparing jalebis.

Some devotees of the mutt claimed that the Gavi Mutt is the first mutt to give jalebi as prasada in an annual fair to a large number of devotees in Karnataka.
