In a memorandum submitted to the tahsildar in Khanapur on Thursday, supporters of Police Inspector Manjunath Naik have called for immediate revocation of his suspension by claiming that Naik is an honest officer.
Inspector Naik has been accused of dereliction of duty in connection with the arrest of BJP MLC C T Ravi, who was brought to Khanapur.
