₹180-Cr Sports Complex Likely To Be Inaugurated In 4 Months

UNION Minister of state for Sports and Youth Affairs Raksha Khadse on Saturday visited the sports complex being constructed on the outskirts of Hubballi under the Smart City Mission. The complex is coming up on 16 acres of land at a cost of Rs 180 crore and is likely to be inaugurated in the next four months.
As the complex is coming up in Aravind Bellad's Hubballi-Dharwad West constituency, he accompanied the Central minister and briefed her about sports infrastructure coming up in the city and facilities to be provided there to sportspersons. He also apprised her about opening facilities to budding sportspersons. It was the first of its kind of sports complex in the state where many sports events could be held at one place, he added.
