15 Priests From Varanasi Perform Tungabhadra Aarti

In a first, Tungabhadra Aarti was performed on the lines of Ganga Aarti in Koppal's Huligi village.
All the rituals were conducted by 15 archaks (priests) from Varanasi who perform the Ganga Aarti. Thousands of devotees descended on Tungabhadra river basin in Huligi of Koppal district on Wednesday night to witness the aarti.
The Tungabhadra Aarti Mahotsava included rituals and events like Chandika Homa, Bharat Natya, Prasad Anna Santharpana for devotees, special Kumbh procession by women, installation of the festival idol at the temple and a special puja.
