RESIDENTS of Palacode town panchayat, annoyed with the increasing traffic issues caused by the erratic parking at the Palacode bus stand, urged the police officials to take steps to relocate the bus stand.
Palacode bus stand is one of the key economic hubs in the town panchayat, with at least one hundred businesses thriving nearby. Due to limited space around the bus stand, the road is often jammed. However, the bus stand has become an impromptu parking lot, with two-wheelers and cars parked erratically. Hence, the residents urged the district administration and the town panchayat to take steps to move the bus stand to somewhere outside the town panchayat.
