Rlys plans CCTVs in all coaches, locomotives to ensure passengers' safety

IN a first-of-its-kind move, the railway ministry has decided to install high-resolution CCTV cameras in all passenger train coaches and locomotives, aiming to provide foolproof safety for passengers after the experimental installations of CCTVs in some passenger coaches.
Minister for Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw, along with minister Ravneet Singh Bittu, reviewed the progress of the initiative on Saturday, accompanied by senior officials from the Railway Board.
