The Peelamedu police arrested a 40-year-old man from Theni district on the charges of threatening his mother-in-law and his son to not give evidence in his wife's murder case, as they are witnesses in the case.
The arrested person, K Maharajan of Bodinayakanur of Theni district, was out on bail from Madurai Central Prison. He abused his mother-in-law K Malaimani (56), a resident of NGR Street in Peelamedu, and his son Dhaswanth using foul
