Jana Sena functionary among 5 held for killing man, dumping body near Cooum

FIVE people including a functionary of Jana Sena, part of the ruling coalition in Andhra Pradesh, were arrested by the Greater Chennai Police for the murder of a 22-year-old man, whose body was found dumped near the Cooum river banks a few days ago.
Police sources said Srinivasali alias Rayudu had been kidnapped and tortured in Andhra Pradesh after which his body was dumped near Basin Bridge, police sources said. Police commissioner A Arun confirmed that the murder took place in Andhra Pradesh.
