In Slow Lane GST growth has been slowing in FY25
MONTHLY GST collection growth in February slowed down after making a double-digit growth in January. The gross GST collection in February increased by 9.1% to ₹1.84 lakh crore, thanks largely to domestic transactions. Last year during the same month, the gross GST collection was ₹1.68 lakh crore.
Gross revenue from domestic transactions grew by 10.2%, while that from imports rose by 5.4%. In January, gross GST revenue increased by a healthy 12.3% to ₹1.95 lakh crore.
