ED Raids Bagepalli Cong MLA Over Foreign Assets

The Directorate of Enforcement (ED), Bengaluru zonal office (BGZO), on Thursday conducted simultaneous raids on five premises in Marathahalli and Whitefield in the city, linked to Congress MLA SN Subba Reddy, for alleged violation of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), 1999.
Reddy represents Bagepalli assembly constituency in Chikkaballapur district. According to ED, the search conducted under Section 37 of FEMA pertains to allegations of undisclosed foreign assets held by Reddy and his family members.
