The Election Commission (EC) on Friday announced that the election to the post of 17th Vice President will be held on September 9.
The notification for the election will be issued on August 7 and the last date for filing nomination papers will be August 21. The nominations will be scrutinized on August 22 and the last date for withdrawal of nominations will be August 25.
