IT was a day of dramatic developments on Friday in the high-profile dowry death case of model-actor Twisha Sharma.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav followed up on the assurance given to Twisha’s family and recommended a CBI investigation in the case, which till then was being probed by a special investigation team of the Bhopal Police.

At around 5 pm, Twisha’s advocate husband Samarth Singh, who had been evading the police till then, reached the Jabalpur District Court wearing a cap, dark sunglasses, and face mask. A few hours earlier, he had withdrawn his application for anticipatory bail from the Jabalpur bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, which he had moved on Thursday.
