IN protest against the soaring prices of essential commodities and as part of 'Sanvidhan Bachao Andolan', the Congress is organising a massive protest rally on April 27 and 28 at the CPED Ground in Belagavi, said district in-charge minister Satish Jarkiholi.
Addressing a press conference at the district congress office on Tuesday, Jarkiholi said, "We have already held a similar protest in Bengaluru against the relentless price hikes. Now, we are organising a major protest in Belagavi as part of a continued campaign. Around 30,000 Congress workers are expected to participate in this protest."
AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge, Randeep Surjewala, KC Venugopal and other senior Congress leaders will participate in the protest rally in Belagavi.
