TWO 'honour killings' have taken place this week in Morena and Betul districts of Madhya Pradesh, respectively.
While a Class XI student girl was shot dead from point blank range over a love affair with a youth from a different caste in Morena district, a youth, who allegedly eloped with a married woman, was brutally beaten to death by the woman's family and relatives, including her husband in Betul district.
Both incidents happened on June 16, but the accused were arrested on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.
