The Indian government may soon grant a licence to Elon Musk's SpaceX to launch its satellite communication services in India, following a partnership with the country's leading telecom service providers, as per industry analysts.
India's two largest telcos, Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel, have recently announced separate partnerships with Starlink to offer broadband services in the country. However, both companies have emphasised that services will commence only after Starlink receives approval from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).
