Western Australia woos India to invest in critical minerals, tourism

WESTERN Australia is wooing India to invest in critical minerals, hospitality, have enhanced aviation connectivity and also hopes to see some Bollywood films using their landscape as locations.

Rita "We are looking at investors from India to invest in hotels and other tourism related projects in Western Australia (WA). We have also had a meeting with Air India and Indigo to improve connectivity, particularly with south Indian cities like Hyderabad and Chennai to Perth and beyond. All approvals are subject to availability of aircraft," said Rita Saffioti, Western Australia's Deputy Premier, Treasurer and Ministry for Transport and Tourism.
