Vikaspuri to play decisive role in West Delhi results

ONE of the capital’s largest constituencies with over four lakh electors, West Delhi’s Vikaspuri assembly segment stretches from affluent residential neighbourhoods along the Outer Ring Road to low-income housing areas in the west, including Hastsal, Vikas Nagar, and Ranhola along the Najafgarh drain.

East of the Najafgarh Drain, Vikaspuri transforms into an affluent region home to cooperative housing societies. These neighbourhoods are inhabited by the upper middle class of Delhi and hold significant sway as swing voters in elections.
