Turkish Airlines told to ensure compliance with norms amid violations
The Morning Standard
|June 05, 2025
THE Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has directed the Turkish Airlines to ensure compliance with regulations after it was found to be "violating basic aircraft maintenance procedures and norms on handling dangerous goods".
The directive follows the DGCA's three-day inspection of the Airlines that concluded on June 2.
The Centre finally permitted it to extend the contract by three months after the current deadline expired (on May 31) in place of the six months extension it had sought.
