A fresh controversy has erupted over cleaning of a temple by its priests after Jan Suraaj Party (JSP) founder Prashant Kishor offered prayers to the deities in the presence of his party's Muslim candidate in Bihar's Madhubani district.

- RAMASHANKAR @ Patna

The incident took place at Kapileshwar Nath Mahadev Mandir when Prashant Kishor along with his party's candidate Parvez Alam visited the temple's 'garbh grih' (sanctum sanctorum) and offered prayers to the idols of Lord Shiva and other deities late on Tuesday.
