SOUTH Korea would like to be a part of Quad, considering the fact that all countries in Quad are its partners, said Chang Jae-bok, South Korean Ambassador to India.
“Korea is already an important partner for all Quad countries. It is entirely on the Quad members to consider including us,’’ said Ambassador Chang Jae-bok on Tuesday.
South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol made his first visit to India in the recently concluded G20 Summit and met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the summit.
Among enhancing trade and defence partnership, there were talks of upgrading the existing Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
