Shah to head Inter-State Council committee of 12 Union ministers and CMs

THE Centre on Monday reconstituted the Standing Committee of the Inter-State Council (ISC) under the chairmanship of Home Minister Amit Shah.
The committee includes 12 other members comprising Union ministers and chief ministers from seven states, a government statement said.
Union ministers on the committee include Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Nirmala Sitharaman, Rajiv Ranjan Singh, Virendra Kumar, and CR Patil.
The panel also features a mix of chief ministers from states governed by both the BJP and Opposition parties.
The states are Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Punjab, Assam, Odisha, and Uttar Pradesh.
