SEBI gives clean chit to Pranav Adani in insider trading case

THE Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has given a clean chit to Pranav Adani, director at Adani Enterprises, in an insider trading case involving shares of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL).
It quashed the show-cause notice (SCN) issued to Pranav Adani, nephew of Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani, after finding that the allegations could not be sustained.
The order was passed by SEBI's quasi-judicial authority, Santosh Shukla, on December 12 without issuing any directions — such as disgorgement or imposing any monetary penalty.
