SC Refuses to Stay QR Code Order on Kanwar Route

The Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to entertain a plea seeking a direction to stay the fresh "QR" code directive issued by the UP and Uttarakhand governments directing the eateries along the Kanwar Yatra route to do so.
A two-judge bench of Justices M M Sundresh and N Kotiswar Singh directed the hotel owners along the yatra route to display their licences and registration certificates (RCs) in accordance with the statutory requirements.
