DELHI NCR is witnessing a sharp rise in cases of influenza, including swine flu, with many residents experiencing prolonged illness and severe symptoms. A recent survey conducted by LocalCircles, which gathered over 13,000 responses from residents across Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad, has found that "54% of households surveyed in Delhi NCR currently have one or more individuals with symptoms of swine flu, including fever, sore throat, cough, headache, stomach issues, joint pain, respiratory issues, etc."
