PM unveils 24,000 crore scheme for tribal welfare

PRIME Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday flagged off five specially designed vans from Jharkhand's Khunti district to mark the launch of the 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra' a nationwide programme aimed at reaching out to citi zens who are eligible for vari ous Central schemes but have not benefited so far.
Similar IEC (information.education and communication) vans were flagged off from other districts across the country having significant tribal population. The campaign to reach out to beneficiaries of the Centre's flagship programmes will culminate on January 25, 2024.
