KERALA High Court has observed it is a matter of serious concern that 12 of 13 universities in the state are functioning without regularly appointed vice-chancellors, and that pleas are being filed in this court at every stage of the appointment process and even over temporary arrangements.
This situation risks the quality of higher education in the state, observed a division bench comprising Chief Justice Nitin Jamdar and Justice Basant Balaji. It issued the order while dismissing a petition filed by Sivaprasad
