Namibian cheetah dies at Kuno nat'l park, drowning suspected

LONE African cheetah in the free range jungles of MP's Kuno National Park (KNP) was found dead at the edge of a flooded nala on Tuesday morning.

Drowning is suspected to have caused the death, which is the eighth casualty of an adult/ semi-adult African cheetah at the KNP since March 2023.
According to the official statement released by the state forest department, "At around 10.30 am on Tuesday, the Namibian male cheetah Pawan was found lying near the edge of a nala amidst bushes without any movement. The male was running due to the rain.
