GUJARAT is renowned as a bastion for the BJP and a crucible for Hindutva ideologies.

The sway of the Muslim electorate has notably waned in this region. Both the BJP and the Congress have abstained from nominating Muslim candidates for any Lok Sabha seat in the state for the 2024 elections. Despite constituting 9.7% of Gujarat's population, Muslims have not clinched a Lok Sabha seat in the past three decades.
