Kerala govt orders police to probe ADGP's meetings with RSS leaders

COMING under intense scrutiny for its unwavering support to law and order, ADGP M R Ajith Kumar despite serious allegations being levelled against him, the state government has finally cracked the whip and asked the police chief to probe the meetings Ajith had with RSS leaders.

Ajith had met two RSS national leaders on separate occasions and during those meetings, he was reportedly accompanied by RSS statelevel leaders. As part of the inquiry, the statements of those present with Ajith during the sessions will be recorded. The police are learnt to have issued notice to some of the people including RSS Pracharak A Jayakumar, who were present with Ajith, to record their statements. The meeting of the officer, who oversees the day-to-day functioning of the local police force, with RSS senior functionaries had set off a huge political controversy.
