Vaishnaw says technology giants will collaborate to help establish IICT
In a move to bolster India's creative technology sector, the Centre on Saturday announced that an Indian Institute of Creative Technology (IICT) will be established in Mumbai modelled after the IIT and IIM.
On the third day of the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES), Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said IICT will serve as a National Centre of Excellence exclusively dedicated to the AVGC-XR sector (animation, visual effects, gaming, comics, and extended reality).
