IT is a moment of double pride for the family of Yashpal Nagar as he and his son Shekhar, 21, are set to join the Uttar Pradesh police force as constables. They were selected during the recent recruitment drive for over 60,000 posts.

Yashpal is an ex-serviceman who retired in 2019, taking voluntary retirement from the Army after serving the nation for 16 years. After taking VRS, he joined the Army Ordnance Corps in Delhi.
