Gameskraft lays off 120 as part of restructuring

ONLINE gaming firm Gameskraft has laid off 120 employees as part of its restructuring after the enactment of the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, by Parliament recently, the company said in a press release on Thursday.
Most of the employees got to know about the news of laying off on Thursday only. The company said its group medical insurance services will be extended up to March 2026 and health checkups and wellness services through its Visit App will be provided till May 5, 2026. Early this month, another online gaming platform Games24/7 had sacked nearly 300 employees and closed its Bengaluru office from September 6.
