Fadnavis Meets Shah Amid Buzz of Maha Cabinet Rejig

Fadnavis was with Shah for over 20 minutes. He also met with the BJP president and Union Minister JP Nadda, along with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Power Minister Manoharlal Khattar.

No details were available, but sources said that the Shah-Fadnavis meeting mainly addressed the matter of shunting ministers whose performance over the last six months was found to be inadequate. Ministers whose departments are in the news due to corruption charges may also face the door. Those stoking controversies over specific issues may meet a similar fate, sources said.
