EXPORTS, the "One District, One Product" initiative, improved urban planning, and the proposed "One State, One Destination" scheme were among the key issues discussed at the 10th NITI Aayog Governing Council Meeting held on Saturday.
As per BVR Subrahmanyam, CEO of NITI Aayog, the meeting also explored the favorable geo-economic environment for India's electronics manufacturing sector. He noted that India has been relatively less affected by the tariffs imposed during former US President Donald Trump's tenure, unlike other countries. Subrahmanyam highlighted India's demographic advantage and cost-effective workforce.
